Him: what are you scared of?
Her: That searing pain that feels like its coming from your chest when it’s all just brain chemicals.
Him: You think you can avoid it?
Her: I am happy, and  content.  Being with you and maybe losing you will disturb my peace and happiness.
Him: I think it’s too late for that. Walking away now will still hurt .
Her: Ever heard of a sharp fast pain hurting less that a long dull pain.  it’s best to take the bandage off fast.
Him: It’s too late, the pain will be sharp and hurt everywhere but still not leave on time.
Her: That sounds like a threat
Him: Love is a threat.
